New Alhambra regulations regarding safety measures and ticket resale prevention. Tickets are personalized and each visitor must carry a passport or ID, which may be checked randomly. In case of name mismatch or missing documents, entry will be denied without refund.
City
Granada, the longest-lasting Arab kingdom in Spain (800 years of Arab occupation), celebrated its 500th anniversary of fall to Catholic monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella in 1992. The city is world-famous for the “Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens”. The Alhambra Palace is the best and best-preserved example of Islamic architecture in Spain. This medieval fortress, strategically located atop a hill, overlooks the city. Covering 100,000 square meters, it is considered the eighth wonder of the world. Many original palaces, squares, and fountains remain unchanged.
Tour
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel along the coast or at the agreed bus stop and head towards Granada. Upon arrival in the city center, enjoy free time exploring the old Arab district Alcaiceria, the Royal Chapel, etc. Early afternoon visit to the Alhambra with tickets and an official local guide. Late afternoon return to Costa del Sol and your hotel.
Tour available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Polish language available for groups of minimum 20 Polish tourists.
Pickup from most hotels on the coast, also in Malaga city near the bus stop in front of the police station (address: Plaza Manuel Azaña) and near El Corte Ingles on Avenida de Andalucia (bus stop in front of CaixaBank).
Return to the same place where you were picked up.
